This is my flagship all-day Orkney adventure and the only private tour I offer that includes access to the world-famous Maeshowe chambered cairn, a 5,000-year-old masterpiece of Neolithic engineering (and possibly the best place in Orkney to feel very small, very old, and slightly awed).
Born and bred here, I’ve (probably) seen it all but Maeshowe still gives me goosebumps. Alongside this UNESCO treasure, we’ll explore other highlights from standing stones to wartime relics, with plenty of local stories, humour, and flexibility built in.
Travel is in a comfy SUV or 4x4 (up to 4 adults), reaching places big coaches miss. Tickets aren’t included, but I can arrange them at cost or you can pre-book.
