I am an friendly, insured, licensed, Blue Badge Guide with a degree in Classical History. I cut away myths and explain a wide range of the most important objects in the collection. The Rosetta Stone, Egyptian Pharaohs, a scared metal cat. The Parthenon marbles, to a bust of Homer and spectacular, classical jewellery. Unusual roman glass, to Pompeii wall paintings. Early British gold and silver from a boat burial. I work with families, and their children are very welcome, as are groups, couples, individuals and students.
